  1. Hey you could have been in jail or Banglidash for that matter. All that matters is you signed the contract and that is that.

If you were across the seas in Italy, you still signed. The fact of the matter is that if you were sober, then you were competent at the moment you signed and you knew what you were signing into; it is assumed that you read the entire contract and what’s signed is signed.

  2. In ohio i think it has to be signed by a notary to make it legal. I dont know about other states.

  3. if I gather the situation correctly, you had to quit claim a property (give up rights to) in order to keep it from being auctioned for tax arrears- merely being in jail does not preclude being of sound mind and body- unless you can legitimately claim and prove that you did not and do not understand the nature of the contract- it has legal force and you are just S.O.L.

  4. NO BECAUSE THE PER SIGNING THE CONTRACT IN JAIL IS FREE TO ELECT AS HE IS UNDER MENTLE STRESSAND HENCE NO VALID TRANSFER CAN TAKE PLACE

  5. It is called a quit claim for one thing, and if they were going to sieze it they would have already. You should have a lawyer if you were in jail so ask them. They can’t say anything to anyone about it and they will have to bring you the papers anyway if you are still in jail.
