It depends where you live. Each state has different laws in regards to rental units.
An agreement with them make an agreement with them make sure that before you leave your yearly rent then you leave your tenants has good income.
An agreement with them make sure that before you will be in the right track.
The best advice I can give you to get an “aggressive” agent, so then they for fill the best interests within yourself, and they will definitely do what you want them to do and they will jump onto the client if your not satisfied with how your property is being treated.
Hope that helps! =)
Well I can tell you a couple things not to do.
1. Dont hire the cheapest one
2. Don’t hire a One Man Show
3. Don’t hire someone who doesn’t have a large portfolio under his/her belt
Also, you might check with your local chamber, most comapnies that are chamber of commerce members are at least semi established. You might find management companies that deal more in condos than single family homes, although that is rare.
Talk to your local Apartment Association, they will have knowledge of management companies who do business legitimately. Always, always use an experienced company to do the application/rental reference check, and to do basic maintenance on the condo. Hope this helps!!
