Where do I find information on plumbing.How to replace the bathroom sink drain trap and it not leak?
I have not been able to get the slip washer to stop the leaking

disassemble and thoroughly clean all parts in a hot water and soap mix rinse thoroughly and dry reassemble and put silicone sparingly around the seat of the slip nut before install it on all connections if follow this and there are no cracks in fittings it will solve leak problem
did i mention after you get all parts to trap clean and dry inspect under a bright lite for possible cracks
silicone i refer to is GE silicone clear come in large tube for caulking gun but should be able to find same stuff in a squeeze tube
