What do you use to replace a soggy bathroom floor in a trailer house?
Would you use plywood? What is waterproof sub flooring? where do you find it?

Go to Lowes we just replaced our bathroom floor in our trailer I was so proud I put pics of it on my myspace lol. We used plywood and 2×4’s and Lauan. We placed plastic liner on the underneath of the floor.
Well, the type of flooring is just the beginning really. You may also need to replace the insulation as well.
Any home improvement store worth their salt will be able to help you gather the right flooring materials.
You may even have special building codes in your area or have special needs due to your climate.
However, if the reason for the soggy floor is not addressed first you will only end up with the same problem down in the future.
You may also need to consider that moisture in wood or insulation is just a place for possible mold growth. make sure you check not only the surrounding floors & insulation, but the walls as well for moisture.
Good luck, our simple one room floor replacement expanded to 2 rooms, 5 walls and most of the insulation in 2 rooms.
Ik gebruik 3/4" tong en groeftriplex, niet OSB, voor subfloor.
The best thing to replace it is particle board all it takes is 12 or 34 inch ply wood it the best thing to replace.
