I’m remodeling the bathroom and need to replace the window trim in the tube/shower area?

replace bathroom

I’m going to gut the entire bathroom but keep the window in the tub area. The wood is rotted and it’ll have to be be replaced. Can I put the new tile right next to the window opening or use this wood-like composite material that looks like window trim? Any other ideas are most welcome.

  1. All of the home improvement stores sell solid vinyl. use that instead of wood just make sure that you seal it well or the water will get behind it and it will rot from the inside out. You can butt the tile right up to the vinyl and caulk the seam
