BUT you may have to change out the board underneath due to damage since you say it was cracked already. but if not just clean it up and go good luck if you dont want tile, call in the granite guys and they can handle everything for you this is a total DIY project once they come off just get the adhesive and relay them.

Once you feel you you're ready to start your first project; do a fairly simple but similar project. I would suggest covering a rectangular end table, coffee table, or patio table & see how it goes for you & how it looks to others. If you do well with the project; that's the easy part...the difficult part will be removing all the tiles & grout & then prepping the old counter top & wall. Have fun!
