   probably $400 or so, if you want the old sink pulled out and a new installed with a garbage disposal.

   That of course does NOT include the costs of the materials.

   Budget first for the sink, it has to be a minimum double sink. the hardware, sometimes come with the sink or not, shop around and determine what you want. It is nicer to have the singular control with a tall faucet that you can use to wash large pots and pans, with the side pull out sprayer.
   Now, a garburetor is a real pain. It can be cheap or it can be expensive. If you do not have an existing garburetor that you are simply replacing with a new one, you have to ask an electrician to come install the electricals. So you therefore need two handymen, unless the plumbing guy can also do the job himself.

   Budget for over 300-500 dollars for the total labor to a thousand. or more for everything.. I havent checked the hardware prices lately, there might have been a big jump again.

   Where I live, it should cost no more then $200. This is of cource assuming a few things: Your old and new sinks are the same size and are both “drop in” styles. Your drain locations, in the bowls, are close to being the same. And that you old disposal setup and new one are the same. Also, you didn’t mention if you were replacing or reusing the faucet. This could also effect the labor costs as well. Its actually cheaper sometimes to get a new faucet, instead of trying to reuse an old one.

   We sell granite counter tops and the 18 gage 9″ deep sink is $199 installed. The disposer is from $85 to $135 and the plumber charges $175. to hook up the plumbing.

   Do it yourself, it’s not that hard and people at Lowes or HomeDepot can help with advice. If it is a direct replacement, same size sink etc it is even easier. Then what ever you charge yourself per hour is the cost.
