The tiles should pop off easily. There are a few ways to treat what you will find under the tile. Probably the easiest would be to attach furring strips to the block wall and then install 1/2" drywall. A plaster wall would be pretty easy too, if you can get the block wall really clean after you remove the tiles. If the block wall is pretty bad, you can do a two-coat (brown coat/skim coat) finish also. It is probably a block wall. The tiles should pop off easily. Het zou gemakkelijker zijn te eindigen dan moetend een volledige muur schuren die u pleisterde.
