How do I replace a bathroom faucet with one tap? Water will only come out when handle is repeatedly turned?

back and forth. Sorry question space wasn’t long enough. I know it has to be replaced. But it keeps happening every few years. Water will only come out in small amounts.

  1. it seem you have hard water , you could instal a water softner under it , it could be cloged up , these a little vent under the tap check that . or maybe just buy a new one very easyto relace ,turn off water ,unscrew the old one replace
