Electrical Outlet in bathroom: can you replace a “razor only” outlet with a gfi outlet?
What is the defference between the two? I have a razor only one in my bathroom now and really I could use for everything.

Niet zeker wat u door " bedoelt; scheermes only" maar ja kunt u GFI aanbrengen. It' s code nu hoe dan ook als de afzet binnen 6ft van waterbron is.
GFII is gemalen fout interupter. Als oultet electirally heet wordt of zijn grond met een bepaalde bedoeling losmaakt zich weg sluit het zodat wordt u niet de grondweg wanneer u u scheermes of droogkap houdt of een tapkraan raakt.
GFI de afzet niettemin is typisch diepere toen regelmatige degenen zo controle die het eerst zal passen.
er is geen dergelijk ding zoals een scheermes slechts afzet. het is een standaardafzet. U zou het veilig met een gfi afzet moeten vervangen om te zijn.
ik herinner de scheermes slechts stoppen, hadden mijn ouders één evenals mijn grote ouders.
I can' t ziet waarom u couldn' t neemt het weg en zette gfi daar, zolang gfi in die apparatendoos zal passen u fijn zou moeten zijn.
their are 2 items i would check before i went out and picked up a gfi or gfii,
1. will a gfi fit into your existing wall box.
2. how old is your house . it sounds like by having a razor only outlet that its not a newer home . check and see if their is a ground wire in the box . lf their isn’t your gfi or gfii will not operate as it was designed to.
