Do I have to replace all of the Underlayment in bathroom?
I have a little section of underlayment that is rotted. The subfloor is fine. Do I need to replace all the underlayment as it is not extremely smooth from old adhesive or will the new adhesive make up for some imperfections?

Ya u should , If you are tiling the floor u should use a new sub floor called fiberock or hardiboard which is designed for that specific application, if ur going with vinyl u should use a product called luan as your subfloor as it will give u a nice clean installation. If u go over the old subfllor it will magnify thru if you are doing vinyl… Again it depends on how nice a job ur looking for
