Average time to replace a kitchen faucet?

replace kitchen

I am taking a poll for personal research- How long did it take you to replace your kitchen faucet? I would like all the gory details if it was a major pain and I would also like to know how quickly it can be done if you are a professional or you hired a plumber to do it for you. If you hired someone, what was the cost of the service?

Was it easy or hard, require multiple trips to the hardware store? If you are a service plumber, do you have back problems after a certain number of years lying under sinks?

Thanks in adavance for your feedback!

  1. i am a general contractor if you have the right tools it could take 15 min. if your using channel lock pliers 45min

  2. About a hour, That was removing the old sink faucet which took the most time and putting in the new one with the” no tools” connectors and flex lines .

  3. lots of things come into play here… you have faucets that have a single hole some have 3 holes to fill and are you counting on soap pumps or seperate spray handles… the average to remove an old setup and put in new would be about 30 minutes…

  4. An hour make sure you turn off your main water supply would say on scale of.
