I know there’s that company “We Buy Ugly Houses”, is there something like that for other property? We bought 5 acres with the intention of building a house. We now want to buy a house and use the profit from the land as down payment. Any ideas? We listed it ourselves and with a traditional realtor but no luck.

I’ve got a great one listed right now in Colorado Springs, which I have completely fixed and am ready to flip. All new stainless appliances, all new ceramic tile, new bathroom with pedistal sink & new pegasus toilet, over $10,000 in landscaping done to the outside — But it’s been 3 months and only a few showings. I’ve recently added a free Plasma TV or a $2000 furniture gift card to the MLS, if I get a full priced offer at $125k. Any other bright ideas to move this property quick? The comp nearby that sold for $88k was a trashed VA foreclosure. The house next door that was fixed to the level of mine sold for $125.1k last year in 6 days and appraised just fine.

I serve on a HOA. Home Owner’s Association in a 80+ unit building. We have a new guy who joined us last year. He would be described initially as a friendly initially but dominating and very harsh at times. He has caused such an internal ruckass with our bunch. To much to list, but will try…

This man has openly lied to people, sent nasty horrible emails about indiviiduals and eventually that included me. I had a big change of heart no in a good way about this guy about 3 mos ago. Something wasn’t right with him.

He went door to door telling people that he should be voted for the up and coming election for our HOA. He openly called people names, attempted to make some of his neighbors look bad so he could look good. He also made it clear he would not ok property improvement and quickly shot down any attempt on the board to do such. It was like he wanted our property to be crappy and poorly valued.

His home was just listed to sell. The bank took it over. He owes more

My dad recently passed away and he was 1/3 owner of a trust set up by his mother to protect two parcels of acreage from ever being sold. When we contacted the brother and sister (the other two names on the trust), they indicated that they were going to sell the property and they had my dad sign a power of attorney a few months ago when he first became ill.
I realize that the power of attorney they had is now invalid- BUT, how do I contact the proper courts (I know deed #’s lot #’s, courthouse locations, etc.) to stop any sale of this property until I can obtain copies of the trust to understand what my rights are. I would think the faster I contact them with the fact of his death, that would at least insure I am involved in any pending sale. Also- one of the propertys is being sold BELOW tax value to one of the 1/3 parties.. which sure sounds like a scam to me!! I just want to know WHAT to file and with WHO? Most docs do not address this that I’ve found. Thanks so much !!

We have a written agreement with a tenant till August 2010 for a property in CT. Can we legally let the tenants know that we want to sell the property and if it is sold before their lease is up give them 30 days to find a place and move out.
